FAQ
Got a question about our unique, eco-friendly birchwood twig gifts?
The answer might be here!
Unfortunately, due to certain country specific laws, raw wood items are prohibited and cannot be posted to you. This restriction is to preserve natural habitats and protect them from diseases that can be impactful to the country's environment.
These countries include (but are not exclusive to):
New Zealand
Australia
The beauty of birch is that it self-seeds naturally. As a result, in order to give the eco-system a hand, these trees are thinned to give more light and space to the remaining trees in order for them to thrive. These thinned trees are the ones that arrive at my workshop and are turned into calls (with the trunks) and pens/pencils (with the branches). All cut-offs are added to my firewood pile and help to keep me warm in the Scottish winters!
I encourage you to contact me with any large orders you might have for functions, weddings or events.
